To elaborate a bit, participants will need to perform physical activities that have been designed to improve their athletics performance, such as running, sprinting, jump, throw, squat, push up, sit-up, burphee, plyometric, and many more. Not to forget we will also include the element of fun in each session, introducing games that may be new to you.

As a start, we will have two (2) trial sessions (for free), on the 17th and 22nd February 2010 for you to have a feel on what is going to be taught during the programme. The session will take place at Padang B (in front of Academy Pengajian Islam) University Malaya. Each session will last for 1 hour. Please email or text me your full name and age to reserve your place.

This programme is recommended for all from age 10 and above. Yes… mom and dad are also welcome to participate in the programme. Not to worry on your level of fitness. We will segregate you to the right group so that you will go through the right training programme that suit your fitness level.

I believe you might have a lot of questions. Feel free to call (016-8399597) or email chokstephanie@yahoo.com for any enquiries. Please pass this info to your friends.

TriKidz Cyberjaya Duathlon in the newspapers today - Monday, June 15, 2009

Thanks to our Royal Duathlon Family, TriKidz appeared on the frontpage of Utusan Malaysia today.

We would like to thank Her Majesty Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Nur Zahirah for gracing our humble event with Tuanku's presence.

The Royal family's interest into our sport gives a boost to the triathlon community and we hope our Royal Duathletes Tengku Muhammad Mua'az and Tengku Fatimatuz Zahrah has been stung by the triathlon bug and is hungry for more triathlon just like the other kids at TriKidz.

Daulat Tuanku.

June Athlete Of The Month - Monday, June 08, 2009

Name:
Rikigoro Shinozuka

Date of birth:
13th January 1995

Place of birth:
Subang Jaya, Malaysia

Email address:
Riki_Triathlete@hotmail.com

School:
Alice Smith International School

Previous sport:
Swimming

How do you get to know triathlon?
I started doing many mini local biathlons (swim - run) which gave the coaches an idea that I was not just a swimmer, but also a runner. So it was the coaches whom found out about me.

How do you feel about triathlon?
I feel that it is a very challenging sport and brings a lot out of me. It also takes me and tells me where and what are my limits. It is also exciting because it isn’t only just one sport, but three different sports are combining together.

Why do you switch sport?
I was told by my coach as soon as I started intense swimming training, that my figure was built to be a triathlete. But I had no confidence with such challenges at that time.

Who is supporting you?
Everyone is supporting me including my parents, friends, swimming or triathlon coaches. No one against the idea of being a sportsman.

What is your most memorable sport moment?
When I got my very first gold medal at TriKidz (Malaysia) competition.
